About Me
I have taught science for almost ten years. My background is in engineering, economics, and statistics studied at Harvey Mudd college. I began teaching science and math at the high school level in 2008, taught for three years, and then had a brief foray into industry before finding my way back to the classroom in 2012. My teaching experience includes physics, chemistry, and biology in science along with pre-algebra through calculus in math. To date, I have taught Physics First to the 9th grade, conceptual physics for juniors and seniors, honors physics for juniors and seniors, AP Physics 1, AP Physics B, AP Physic C Mechanics, AP Physics C Electricity and Magnetism, and Engineering Design. For the last five years my work has focused on implementing NGSS in my own classroom with a significant amount of trial and error. The goal of this website is to pass on everything I have learned the hard way so you don't have to.
